About Dr Bree BSc(Nsg) MBBS FRACGP
Dr Bree is a Perth GP who is passionate about grass roots health care, delivered in a personalised, evidence-based, empathetic fashion. She loves her family, food, rugby and the occasional glass of champagne!
Areas of Interest
Dr Bree is happy to attend to all primary care needs, but does have a particular interest in:
- Adolescent health
- Sexual health, including contraceptive advice, insertion of contraceptive implants & intrauterine devices, and screening/treatment/prevention of sexually transmitted infections
- Women’s health, including menstrual & menopausal issues, reproductive & antenatal health, and polycystic ovarian syndrome
Dr Bree completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2012, many years after completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Curtin University. After much soul searching, she eventually decided to take the leap from the hospital system into general practice – achieving both varied, intellectually stimulating work and a better work-life balance. Along the way she also attained a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health, was accredited by the AMA as a Youth-Friendly Doctor, and in early 2019 was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
